Jason Wood is a man of many talents and truly unique experiences. He is an entrepreneur who stumbled
into writing
that was inspired by a letter he wrote to his birth parents. Jason is a sailor at heart and a true lover of the
sea. His favorite childhood memory was being down in the harbor, looking at boats and walking on the pier.
Jason attended El Granada elementary school, then Half Moon Bay high school and Lake Oswego high school and
went to college at the University of Oregon.
Born in downtown San Francisco California and raised in Half Moon Bay, California and Lake Oswego, Oregon, Jason is the youngest in the family with three sisters. As a young man, Jason was inspired by writers such as Malcolm X, Solomon (from the Bible) and Mark Haddon. In his leisure, Jason loves shark fishing, boating, spending time with friends, wining and dining and traveling. His favorite travel locations include London, Atlanta, Miami and Spanish Town, Jamaica.
Jason Wood is not your typical writer. His style is raw, unpolished and vivid. His first and new book From Here to Half Moon Bay (a 3 part series) was written in 28 days. He wrote non-stop morning and night, on land and at sea, at work and at home. It's a personal must read.
