SEXY STUNT DRAWS CURIOUS ONLOOKERS AS SUSHISAMBA dromo
AND ED HARDY SWIMWEAR UNVEILED EDIBLE BIKINI
MIAMI BEACH, FL ? (July 28, 2009) ? Miami?s first edible bikini was unveiled to hundreds of onlookers on Saturday morning (11 a.m.), July 18, 2009 at SUSHISAMBA dromo. Model Kaitlyn Collins teased the palate as she dropped her towel to soak sun on a fabricated beach created in the outdoor Lincoln Road cafe.
The suit was the brainchild of Creative Director, Fawn Arthur of Sea & Sun Swimwear and Corporate Pastry Chef, Sergio Navarro of SUSHISAMBA and served as a precursor to the much buzzed-about catwalk-strut taking place that evening at the 5th annual Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim show.
The ultimate in fashion fantasy, the two-piece bikini was created with strawberries, star fruit, blueberries and banana leaf accents. Navarro paid close attention to detail, scripting Ed Hardy on chocolate ?hardware? and a left chest design of dangling cherries, a heart pierced by a dagger and the text ?kills,? inspired by Ed Hardy?s ?love kills? tagline.
USA Water Polo Men?s Player, Thomas Hopkins, joined the beauty for the photo opportunity though arrived late straight from Lasik eye surgery at VISO LASIK MEDSPAS. Hopkins wore the baby blue Ed Hardy board shorts and posed with a colorful lion head Ed Hardy boogie board. .
While sipping from a SUSHISAMBA signature cocktail, the Nina Fresa, the model gave a simple answer when asked how it felt to wear an edible bikini. ?It?s fun!?
